When a relative introduced me to this connector system, I saw no immediate benefit. However, once I bought one, I used it a lot. Provides really clean wire ends for all types of connectors, connectors and even for use with alligator clips. No more frayed wires shorting out adjacent connections. The tool is of very good quality and works perfectly. The kit contains many tips; probably a lifetime supply for me. It would be nice if they included a one size smaller tip, but you can twist thin wire twice to get around this. Colors (especially black and red) in different wire gauges. The biggest fear here is tipping over the case when it's open and having to sort through and reload nearly two thousand tips.
