I used this pump for my hydroponic system. The first week went well. I changed the water for my hydroponic system today and was shocked when I touched the water. I used a voltmeter to measure the parasitic voltage in the water while the pump was running. The readings were 21 volts. It's dangerous and scary. Please don't buy that crappy Chinese pump. The first photo shows the model of the pump. The second picture is the initial reading of the voltmeter without touching the water. The third picture shows the readings of the voltmeter with the pump running (the measurement was taken when one probe touched the water and the other probe touched the exit soil)
