This pump drives my water wheel very well. Included were adapters for hoses in 3 sizes. The pump has a control valve for flow control.

Great lifting as promised. The pump that came with this 4 1/2 foot fountain was dead and I needed one that could pump water from the bottom up. Tried and few and they had no elevator. This one does! I run the fountain 24/7 365 days a year so I don't know how long it will last but for now it's a great pump.

Pump arrived as promised. Comes with 3 hose adapters with different diameters. I went with the smallest one as it fits on top of the hose already installed. It worked great. The distance from the pump to the tip is about 3 1/2 feet. I'd like about 5 inches of spray on top, but as you can see it only produces about 2 inches; which is identical to the previous pump. So overall I'm happy with how it's working.

The pump was installed to support a 5 foot pebble well. When the pump was set to maximum flow, the water barely came to the surface. If anyone tried to lift water 7.2 feet with this pump, I am sure you would be very disappointed. Even if you have tried using it for small outdoor pools, I am convinced that this pump will have mechanical problems to achieve anywhere near satisfactory results. Some complain about the height of the jet of water it pumps when used in a fountain, but of course as with all pumps this depends on the diameter of the hose used. Bought to replace the burned out pump in this fountain. It's a bit larger than I expected with a heavy, solid feel.
