Great for cellphone charms

Just like the picture. I used one of these to attach some phone charms to the center of my Otterbox case as you can see in the picture. The set I received looked more like tiny key rings than the open ring that many reviewers say are being replaced. Could it have been a bad batch? These appear to be durable.
