I recently had bariatric therapy. Due to the nature of my particular surgery, I have to keep my carbs very low. I don't have much money either. I'm trying to support my family on a single income and spending on massive amounts of protein supplements is beyond my budget. So I saw that this little container of protein powder was pretty economical. I think I paid a little over $6 a pound back then. If you know anything about protein powders, you know this is a fantastic deal! When it got to my house I was disappointed to see that it only had 10 carbs per serving. That's almost half of my daily workload. I shrugged and shook myself. Taste is ok. For 10 carbs I expected it to taste better. I understand that no protein powder will impress me with its amazing taste, but this one really let me down. On the plus side, it packs 25 grams of protein per scoop! The price is fantastic. Glad to know this product is available if I ever have money problems!
