Review on CleanTools 42149 The Absorber Synthetic Drying Chamois by Christopher Bates

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Take a few for a very large surface. But get tips on proper stain care.

Great for drying cars. It's almost scary how absorbent and fun it is. I'm lucky enough to have a heated towel rail at work and can use up a towel on a car in about 5 minutes. I finish off any remaining runoff drips with microfiber on the car as you don't want to run the dry towel over the dried paintwork and scratch it. Without a ring, the compact sedan is a quarter or half dry before it needs a serious press. Hand spinning removes about 80 percent of the water, but leaves behind beads and streaks. I recommend at least 2 for a sedan and no spin cycle. If you fold into squares, it goes much further. As with any spilled or dry car. Avoid surfaces and almost anything but paint or glass. You carry grease and dirt out of the car through the paintwork and possibly ruin the towel. There's always a place you've missed. As for cleaning, I mostly rinsed with water before cleaning or with a small amount of detergent when washing without drying. The grease stains are still there so I'm at a loss. Luckily! It's just a PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) branded towel and you can find it everywhere online for the same price if not a lot cheaper and more.
