Review on ๐Ÿงน Revolutionary Hardwood Floor Premium Spray Mop: Effortlessly Clean and Shine by Robert Schneider

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The atomizer broke after 2 months and cannot be repaired, stains remain!

I had an old Bona floor wiper for 5 years and it was great. I've refilled the same bottle over and over with my cleaning solution, only occasionally buying a Bona brand replacement cleaner (admittedly a great hardwood cleaner). I bought microfiber pads, both Bona brand and generic, and washed them regularly. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats so I am constantly sweeping and mopping the floors. Bona was easy to use and did a good job. Then I bought a new premium model and after 2 months the sprayer stopped working. We tried taking it apart to fix it and found cheap plastic bits inside that are beyond repair if the sprayer breaks - it's just dead and completely impractical to send back. Of course it stopped working a month after my return window closed. I was very disappointed as I had just come home from holiday and really wanted clean floors so I could relax. nope Bona seems to have made a newer version that doesn't perform as well or hold up to regular use and is mostly irreparable due to the cheap plastic parts inside. Cracked plastic is not the same as a broken mechanism. There's nothing you can do about it. I went to my local hardware store and bought a different brand of spray mop (with a red handle and flip-top lid). It doesn't need the same microfiber pads I just stocked up on, so it's a shame, but I figured I'd rather spend my money on another brand than give Bona more money. If a company charges more for an inferior product and makes do-it-yourself impossible due to poor design, I'm out of the game. I'd rather take a chance on a competitor and see if they can do a better job of earning my customers' loyalty. After a sweep with a new mop, I found that this "premium" Bona did a terrible job cleaning my hardwood floor. in comparison. The new mop left a streak free, shiny floor in one pass and I had to sweep Bona over the same floor 3-4 times to get the same results without steaks. Now that I see how much better my new mop cleans, I'm even glad my Bona mop broke. Now I've given my money to a company that makes a better product. Works for me!
