I love fresh homemade tortillas but my attempts at making them haven't always been successful lol. reuse in the press. My tortilla was nice and flat when I first tried it, but it was impossible to tear it off the parchment paper. I switched to plain plastic wrap top and bottom and it worked 100x better. My flour tortillas were still too thick even after the press, but I used my fingers to stretch the circle a bit. and it helped. It's definitely a lot quicker and easier than trying to roll and flatten them by hand, and it also helps keep them the same thickness, which is nice. I can play with my tortilla recipe a bit more to see if it makes a difference. The press itself is quite heavy, but it's easy to use and doesn't require much strength to operate. To assemble, all you have to do is screw on the handle, which takes less than a minute, and you're ready to go!
