Review on 🌊 Stay Hydrated and Eco-Friendly with the New Wave Enviro 40oz Stainless Steel Water Bottle and Strap by Brandon Peters

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A Matter of Preference

After reading other reviews of these bottles I bought a 40 oz bottle of KK and New Wave Envrio for field testing and the end result is I can barely tell them apart. They are identical in size, shape and appearance except for the logo and as far as I can tell they are the same steel grade and gauge, even to the point that without caps they are the same weight within a gram. (That's 1 metal clip) The only difference I've noticed in use is that the metal lid on the NWE makes a bit of noise unless you're extra careful when opening. This can make a difference when trying to sneak up on wildlife, but for general camping use it probably won't. Since metal rubs against metal, this can also cause the bottle to leak after around 50 years. The KK's BSP-free Type 5 plastic cap doesn't require much effort to open silently, but being plastic it will likely need to be replaced after only 5 or 10 years, although at least it won't wear out on the bottle itself ..final analysis: 46 cents difference and you want a metal cap?
