I bought this to replace a worn out cartridge on a Lezyne floor pump. Ideal for inflating high pressure Presta bike tires. Avoid bending the thin Presta valve stems. Alternatively, you can depressurize the hose before removing the chuck. Unfortunately, this cartridge only works with Lezyne pumps. However, you can purchase a complete Lezyne pump hose set and convert your non-Lezyne pump with hose clamps to attach the hose to the old pump. Incidentally, it also works well with Schrader valves, but before removing the chuck, the chuck must be turned around and the tire pressure can be adjusted via the pressure relief valve.
