Upgraded a small toddler 3 wheel scooter to this one for my son and it was a great upgrade for him. This scooter is still too big for my son (hopefully he will grow a few more inches in a few months and it will be perfect) but it is much more fun and active to play with than this toddler scooter. With this scooter, he can actually learn how to steer the scooter and make sharper left and right turns, how and when to engage the handbrake, and use his hips and back legs to rock sideways to keep the scooter moving. The LED flash wheels are great for late afternoon play, which looks fun and also allows other kids to see it and not bump into it (we let it play with other kids in the school parking lot at night).
