Buy DUO instead

This thing is garbage. I received it in May. At first everything was fine. Then I got BURN error messages for recipes that worked fine in my DUO. Put the inner pot of it in the DUO and it will cook great. I've had no trouble putting a few cups of water in a saucepan and cooking on a wire rack or steamer basket. For example hard boiled eggs. I've been cooking them the same way since I got my DUO in 2014. Never had a problem. Bought a mini which is identical to the DUO, only smaller. Eggs are great for this. Got the Ultra in May when I first got it the eggs were well cooked. The eggs are well cooked today. First. I later decided to make half a dozen more eggs the exact same way. The eggs came out soft. It turned out that they cannot be cleaned due to the longer cooking time. Why did it work well before and then not? It turned out that the print arrived correctly and there were no error messages. He took out the mini and made more eggs in it. Ideal. So it's not a method or user error on my part, but this lousy machine. Luckily I still have DUO; I was going to give it away, but now it's coming out of the basement and working again. I'm sticking with a tried and true remedy that has never given me any problems. I thought I'd love the extra features, but what's the use if this stupid machine isn't working properly anymore? So if you're looking to buy an Instant Pot, resist the urge to buy it even if it's on sale on Black Friday or Prime Day and get a DUO.
