I had an old wall outlet remote that didn't work through our house's large window to turn on the unit from outside the home. It turns on instantly and turns off immediately. I know because I installed a bird scarer so I can scare birds I don't like out of the feeder and birds I don't like. An electric drill connected to a large rotating object creates noise and movement to scare away birds. The point is that the motor has more horsepower/torque and the switch turns it on and off as fast as I can push the button with no visible hesitation. I used to not be able to quickly turn off the device from home. I've tested it about 50 feet from home and it's worked so far with no issues.
