More than what you pay for.

Compared to a $200 knife it sucks. Compared to a $50 knife, this is really good. This is an economical option for those who need a spare or inexpensive carving knife for a cabin or campground. The blade took about 30 minutes of reprofiling and sharpening to get it sharp and ready to use. The slim design is great for chopping and chopping food, while the extra length helps when you need to dismember and dismember big game. The centuries-old blade design is the benchmark against which all knives are measured. The steel is very good 1095, it hits the ferro rod well and holds the blade well. Put an 18-20 degree blade on it and the knife works much better. The Ka-Bar 7" leather sheath is a great option for this knife.
