A great way to add a number plate to the front of the car where it is necessary. Multiple mounting options are included, and the plastic base plate mates with pre-drilled holes from most manufacturers. My plate was just bolted into the bumper and it was too low and flimsy and the skid plate helped make it stiffer. You don't have to use a metal plate frame, but I decided to try it and it looks good. Very clean and simple, and even comes with small screw caps to deter theft and prevent water from getting into the screws. If your bumper doesn't have holes, you can also use the supplied adhesive pads. You need to remove all wax and make sure there is no oil or dirt on the bumper or they may come off. I didn't use this method as I already had screw holes that lined up perfectly with the base plate and allowed me to center the plate on the bumper. All in all a good product, all screws appear to be rust free and rust resistant. Easy to install even for people who don't own a car and offers a much nicer look for old or new cars.
