I bought these hoping they would be suitable for cold winter riding as described. I think it really depends on where you live, but where I live in Alaska it's not warm enough. I took her for a walk in 25 degrees Fahrenheit and my feet were very cold. Not good. I'm 5 9 180 with big legs and booty, waist 32. I made myself too big hoping I could put them underneath but to no avail. They're very tight everywhere except the waist which is annoying because there's no drawstring to pull them down and the back isn't higher than most jodhpurs so they sit on my fly. They feel good and the price was low so I'll be riding them in the fall, probably 30 degrees Fahrenheit and above.
