The seller did a good job, no complaints! The product is just terrible. I even read reviews on other sites and like this one the most. I bought them because I was looking for "soft pastels". This is what they stated. They're so hard it's ridiculous! Most of all I need them to scrape the pigment off the sides of the pieces. Jeeper they are so hard I can't scrape them off and yes I've tried different tools and blades. It just scrapes off in pieces with a small amount of powder. I would definitely not recommend them for this purpose. Who knows, maybe I had lemons? The choice of colors is great though. I've seen other very inexpensive "soft" pastels that were great, just didn't have the variety of colors I needed. And I definitely don't need "expensive" soft pastels because of the way I use them. All I need is color variety and "Rubbability" (my word, no hassles, plz) to make a soft powder of "SOFT" pastel colors in a nice range of pigments. I even tried drawing them on paper and "ee-ee" is literally like scratching with chalk on a blackboard! lol, creepy and no kidding! It was like scratching a piece of wood on paper and left almost no trace of pigment. So choose depending on what you need this "soft" pastel for! chaos
