My child goes to astronomy class and comes home every day and tells me what he learned at school and how he likes it. He has been asking for a telescope for a long time and I bought him one for his birthday and he loved it and couldn't wait to use it. Putting it together didn't take long if you followed the installation instructions that came with the box. We waited for a clear night sky and brought the telescope to the front lawn. We connected my phone and got great pictures. I don't know much about astronomy but my son seemed to know what he was seeing which meant it was worth every penny. This telescope is great for beginners and while a bit pricey compared to other telescopes available, it's a bargain for such a great product. We could see it clearly and it was great to be able to spend time together away from electronics. It came packaged in a really nice bag so it would be perfect if we ever go out and need to take a telescope for easy portability. It's very light so my son will be the one carrying it around. This is a very educational device and I am very happy that it is available for beginners. It has many interesting features that you can use to increase engagement. Overall I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a telescope for their kids or even adults who are new to astronomy and want to start with something simple.
