It is dark, difficult to use in dark places or at night.

It can find meter, height and level, which is good. The problem for me is that I can't use it at night or late at night because there is no light. Not sure if the other rangefinder has a night light, but this one doesn't. Since I only use it for the shooting range, that's enough for me.
