Nice Camping Fan / light / Charger Combo

I got this for camping for its multi-purpose functionality.Pros:Relatively Light WeightMultiple ModesHanging HookBattery BankLED LightsVersatileBrushless MotorCons:NoneWhat I received in the package:1 x MISBY Camping Fan With LED Lights1 x microUSB Charging Cable1 x Instruction ManualThis MISBY Camping Fan With LED Lights product is roughly 4 1/2”x 5 1/2” max diameter and weighs approximately 13.4oz. The fan is made of ABS material with a brushless motor for a relatively quiet operation. The fan has two buttons on the side. One for toggling through the 4 fan speeds and the other to toggle through the light modes. The The 3 LED lights can be be flipping out or secured into the side of the fan and light in any position. The lights have four mode: White High, White Low, White & Red Flash and Red How. The fan comes with a carrying handle and a flip out hanging hook that is integrated into the handle. The fan also has a microUSB charging port and well as a standard USB port for charging your devices. The fan can be used as a 4000 mAh battery bank. The fan also comes with a solar panel on the back of the fan which is supposed to charge completely in 20 hours. What I like about this product is that it provides you with a fan / light which works well for camping. It is not an extremely powerful fan or bright light. But sufficient to move air in a tent and provide enough illumination to see what you are doing. The product came partially charged so I was able to immediately put it through some testing.First test I put this product through was a sound test to see how quiet the motor really is. Here are the results:Speeds 1-4 (4 being the highest speed)Speed 1 - 50 dBSpeed 2 - 54 dBSpeen 3 - 58 dBSpeed 4 - 63 dBAll those levels are relatively quiet for a fan. It pushes out a max wind of 25ft/s which gives you a nice light breeze. The hanging hook works well and allows you to suspend the fan/light above you in the tent. The product seems sturdy and well made. The solar panel appears to work. When you place the solar panel facing the sun … the red charging light comes on. So it is detecting the light and while I haven’t actually drained the fan completely and set it out for 20 hours. I did set it out all afternoon and it did appear to charge the unit some. When you charge the fan it has a red indicator light that come on letting you know it is receiving a charge. Once the battery bank if fully charged it turns blue. The three LED lights can ben flipped out and basically moved to any position between fully open and fully stored. What I didn’t care for about this product was that the three LED lights are not the easiest to access and flip out. After you get the hang of it, it gets easier . maybe it is my sausage fingers. This is also being marketed as a desk fan. I found that this is not ideal for the desk. The fan is top heavy so you can only really set the fan on its side or face it straight up. When the fan rests on the desk it tends to vibrate on the desk top and make more sound. When the fan is on one side it makes a sound that seems like the blades are touching the side of the fan housing. In my testing all the fan/light modes functional properly and I was able to charge my phone via the USB port.I was unable to locate any warranty either in the product information or item description.I received this product in exchange for an honest review. All in all, I like this little fan. It is relatively light and has a small footprint. At max, it puts out a decent breeze inside a tent. The lights are a plus and just enough to be able to see what you are doing in the tent. A younger person could read to it. The red light is nice for night so you don’t have to let your eyes adjust from a brighter light when going outside. Absolutely a standard item we take for camping trips now. Great for warmer nights when there is no breeze. This product is made in China.
