First thoughts after completing the installation and a short test drive: 1. It's alive! In fact, there seems to be an increase in throttle response and even a slightly reduced growl in the engine noise.2. My installation took a little longer as the old vacuum inlet hose was removed. Mine had a clip holding it in place and it didn't "just come off" as they say. Of course, you can't stick your hand in it or anything other than a pickaxe to get at it. That's how I finally got him to break free. 3. Installation afterwards was easy!4. I am very happy with the first results and have only used the Fram filter. Couldn't wait for my AEM to arrive! I look forward to installing it to see if anything has improved. But I can really feel the improvement! 5. HAPPY CAR IS HERE! Update: After driving about 3 tanks of gas, my mpg increased slightly from about 0.5 to 1mpg. The AEM filter didn't make a huge difference, but I know it will pay off in the long run. I still love the extra throttle response and the sound!
