. My biggest problem with the inconsistency with this adapter. Never worked over USB 3.0 (tried on multiple Windows 10 systems) but works over USB 2.0. I've been using it for several months on my system, which also serves as a movie server. When it works, it's good, the streaming quality is just as good, but often (once a day or so) it just cuts out. Disabling / re-enabling the network connection does not work, a full system reboot is required. I've tried this on different Windows 10 systems with different routers and I'm having the same problems. I've never had a problem with it while browsing, but persistent connections cause it to stop. Personally, I blame the Realtek driver (I hate them all). All in all you get what you pay for. Signal is strong, build quality seems decent but too inconsistent for my use. Every wireless adapter will not be 100%, but some are close. Unfortunately, this one seems to be somewhere in between. Comes closest as a replacement.
