didn't work for my Dell Precision T1700
Seems like a quality unit. It had all the right connections but the jump from the 8-pin to the 4-pin in my CPU was about 4 inches too far for the cord to reach. Tried contacting the support email in the documentation to see if they'd be willing to provide a extension. They got back to me (overnight) but didn't have any viable solutions - basically said to go get your own extension. I'm sure I could have spliced some cords to make it fit, but didn't want to risk it on a brand new unit. Returning.
