Review on DEWALT D26960 Heat Gun with LCD Display by Tom Beland

I didn't know what to expect having only used a basic heat gun once before . It's much nicer. I bought this heat gun to shape Kudex sheaths and holsters. I used it to make a small adjustment and I'm impressed with how quickly it heats up the area. I set it to 300 degrees and I was up and running in no time. I feel the result is consistent with the setting. The "stand" function is practical, I can put the gun with the nozzle upwards. I haven't tried heating it in this position, but it should help when I need both hands free. The cable is a good length and gauge, it seems strong.
