I bought a regular SUV flag, then I made a template from spare paper and cut two sides. Note that one side is marked with an asterisk on the left and the other on the right. Don't let that bother you. The military always uses an inverted flag, meaning "never back down". This way you ensure that the stripes are also aligned horizontally so that the flag looks normal. If you're using the template, you can also experiment with the decal to make sure you have an appropriate star field in relation to the stripes. No rush - it's easy.
