It also has a grid that tells you which number to use for the laser and the type of material used. It's an easy process to download the software and understand how to use it. All measurements are in millimeters, it was a bit of fun figuring out what size to set. You also need to adjust the height of the laser. They recommend 2mm. I have to adjust several times by unscrewing the laser and moving it up or down and then tightening the screw.
