So I don't know why others are complaining that this case doesn't have a screen protector when the description says so. People should stop buying things without reading what they are buying! No offense, but Otters' "shields" offer no real protection other than from dirt, dust, and debris. They make it more waterproof. If you want to protect your screen from falls, which do the most damage, you need to buy a tempered glass screen protector. The plastic isn't as thick as Otter cases but seems good. The protective rubber edge is nice and should help cushion minor falls. it will definitely protect those delicate corners! The stand is good for support. My daughter loves it and since it's not that heavy it doesn't add any weight to the iPad. I definitely recommend buying it along with a tempered glass screen protector. you should be good together
