I had really dirty toilets that needed a good cleaning. This lollipop pumice worked, but not quite as well as it should. Given how fragile these stones are, I don't think a pen would be of much use. One of the stones fell off the handle before I even opened the package. I used it anyway, and with some elbow strength I managed to scrape off any visible stains. I definitely recommend long rubber gloves and goggles if you plan on going well below the waterline (hey, that's dirty work). And from three toilets I had an incredibly faint scratch that had to be seen up close. But considering how cheap they are, I'm definitely impressed with the overall results, and I've got three bricks left to boot.
