I remember all the negative reviews, so they will be updated if necessary. The initial installation was easy. The length of the bolts can be easily adjusted without special tools. As for the length of the set screws, I just used old hardware to get the correct length. The SmartKey feature is pretty amazing. It will take a few seconds to reset the deadbolt to your existing key. We just painted the outside of the house so we got a new lock and I had to repaint some parts of the door and drill a new hole for the handle, but that's not the lock's fault. The interior of the grip, which uses a thumb lever, does not appear to have been rebuilt. However, the action is so smooth and light that it can be good. I put a new seal around the door so the door is a little tight now but we have had no issues with the locking mechanism at all. It cost less than half the same set of locks in Lowe here on Revane.
