I don't like that this collar can cause seizures in people with epilepsy! There is no permanent or gradual color changing mode - each mode flashes. This collar is durable and can be really beautiful. And so we must avoid family members with epilepsy while my dog wears it! I would hope for a firmware update but I don't think it's programmed that way. I would advise anyone worried about seizures to wait for an update. I'm sorry I was a guinea pig. Update: She wore it several nights. How nice it is when there are no people with epilepsy around.
