Review on Ryobi 039066005054 Platen Assembly Sanders by Alex Taylor

My old Craftsman sander was wearing out: the clamps weren't strong enough to hold the sandpaper, causing the paper to "wander" off the roller. I have searched the internet for replacement parts and found that they are no longer made and there is no replacement available. I flipped through photos of all available replacement parts and found a Ryobi sanding drum that looked exactly like the one I needed. In the Q&A someone asked if this reel would fit Craftsman 315.111770 (same model as mine). There were 2 answers that said yes, it suits the craftsman. When it arrived I was able to remove and replace the part in just minutes - it fit perfectly! So instead of paying $50 or more for a new grinder, I was able to get my old one working again and trade it in for only $10!
