Review on 🍳 Lima 8-Inch Gray Ceramic Nonstick Frying Pan/Skillet by GreenPan - A Healthy Option by Joseph Quintana

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I've been using it every day for a year and a half

Much better than Teflon peeling. Cooks more evenly and much healthier. I've been using it every day for 3 months and I love it. I use extra virgin oil with no problems. Cleaning is a breeze with warm water and the soft side of a sponge. It's still like new. Excellent quality. Update after a year and a half: I have 2 of these pans (8 inches) and have been using them every day without a break ever since. One is for eggs and the other is for potato pancakes. I always use the same pan for everyone. In the one I use for eggs I use a small amount of oil. In the one I use for pancakes I use extra virgin olive oil which is not recommended for ceramic pans. The one I use for eggs is almost new, I say almost, because the first few months I was able to make eggs without oil and the eggs never slipped or stuck. Now when I don't use oil (and quite a lot), the eggs stick, but nothing the silicone spatula wouldn't loosen. The one for the donuts I use with extra virgin olive oil just leaked. I burned a skillet recently and that was for the skillet. Using it with oil has obviously soiled the pan, even if I'm very careful with it. Although I'd happily buy another one. I think it's very important to take good care of them, as they're not "hard" but rather slim . I don't knock them out, always keep the heat low to moderate (I have a gas stove), never burn anything in them (oops!), clean them with a soft sponge and mild soap. I also have a grill. Pan from GreenPan which I love for fish. You have to be very careful with them to make them last.
