Previously, I steadily poured myself a Motul 5-40, but the price has become completely unaffordable over the past year. In the spring of 2022, I switched to Takayama, also 5-40. It’s more profitable for the price, but I didn’t feel any difference in terms of functionality, it doesn’t smoke, the hydraulics are quiet, nothing really goes to waste, I only drive a little less before the replacement, not 11,000 km, but somewhere around 9000 km.
