Caulker for beginners and it was all I needed

Both parts of the kit worked great. The stripping tool removed the old grout between my tub and the tiles in about 15 minutes. I cleaned and wiped everything down with alcohol. I measured the largest gap and chose the correct corner size (8mm in my case). I sealed the tub in about 20 minutes. The entire project took less than an hour and the results were WAY better than the installer's "wet finger" work.

Not required but helpful.

You may think that you only need one finger, and that may be true. In fact, these tools come in handy when you need to "smooth out" corners or trim excess silicone and get everything clean and even. You can press on the excess silicone and remove the excess before it dries. It is an elastic material that washes well with water. It also helped to get the old silicone out of the shower, it could be pulled out with a black tool but I needed another metal tool to get at the stuff that wasn't coming

Why didn't I try this sooner?!

Wow I wish I had bought these tools sooner. Like many others, I was taught to use my finger to smooth out seals, and while there will always be times when you need to go that route (rough or rough edges), I've found these edge tools to be great for straight lines are where you want them to be. . nice clean app. I used a 90 degree edge to caulk the sealant between the inner window frame and trim and the result was very good. Looks a lot better than the ones I made by hand. Also, they were…

I'm a pro and use them every day

My customers are amazed at the perfect seal lines I can achieve with this set. . Or paintable sealant if required. You'll know it's 100% silicone because it costs about $14 for a color-matched tube. Pro tip: Throw away the black scraper, it's useless to remove the seal. Use a utility knife and a scraper with a blade. Take your time and remove every piece of old sealant. Lightly fill the sealant joint and press the appropriate size applicator firmly onto 2 surfaces. Have paper towels handy and…

Suitable for caulking guns

I'm one of those people who in the past have always used their fingers to smooth out grout. As with most laypeople, the results are always satisfactory, but not as pleasant as one would like. So this time, before re-caulking the shower, I started watching YouTube videos as a refresher. I noticed using "silicone caulking tools" and liked the results they seem to produce. What I wanted was the Fugi kit, but it didn't justify the cost of a job. I first settled on a kit that I thought would give me
