For the most part, the power supply worked properly. I use it in a silent PC (with lower 140mm fans, noise dampening material, etc.) that runs 24/7. It makes a low, high, chirping sound, very rhythmic. I turned off the fans, thinking the only option was the power supply. I saw a YouTube video of someone with the exact same sound coming out of their EVGA G2 and the sound in the video is exactly the same as what I'm hearing on my computer. I see several other reviewers here on Revain found the same thing. I'll try toggling the eco switch tonight to see if that helps, otherwise I'll try to get support from EVGA. Keep in mind that this is a low noise and only disturbs one of the few people living in my apartment. . Unless you're too picky or have a mild hearing loss you won't notice the noise and this should be a great power adapter for you. Edit so I switched to eco mode and can't hear the chirp.
