Union Jack cufflinks

Like British Prime Minister David Cameron's, a bright pop of color and stylish touch, but muted when viewed without the enamel paint. The Union Jack (or Union Flag, to be precise) is the flag of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland if you call it its full name, and not just England of course. The English flag is the George Cross. The Union Flag as depicted on these cufflinks is the Scottish Cross of St Andrew (or Saltyre) combined with the Cross of St George, with the later addition of St Patrick's Cross, representing Ireland. The US flag takes its colors from the original Union Flag, which only combined the Scottish and English crosses. The first flag of the United States featured the Union Flag in the upper left corner where the Stars and Stripes now stand. Wearing these cufflinks will give you a connection (!) with all the nations of the UK, not just the English!
