This is my first experience with drying balls, so I'm only comparing drying towels. I've been using complimentary and clear dryer sheets for years, although my husband likes a nice different kind of scent (sorry honey!). I've noticed a huge difference in the feel of the lint I pull out of the lint collector. The only way I can describe it is that there is no weird movie on it now. I never thought about it, but now it's definitely got me thinking! I would say that the softness is the same if not better compared to the others, as is the drying time. Wrinkles are my fault! 😳😬
