I had a reverse osmosis water filter under the sink for a year and started replacing some of the filters as they were past their due date. Whenever I replace one and spend dozens of dollars I always wonder what am I buying for and what has changed? This TDS pen has finally answered all questions. Before the filter change the TDS is ≈60 (almost soft water) and after the filter change it drops to 30 (very soft).
