You can't go wrong with this counter!

Not bad at all. It has many dimensions and few annoyances. Here is the descent. First of all I have to say that this is definitely a heavy meter. I've had a smorgasbord of yards of each brand over time and this one will hit hard when it falls. It seems to be decently made, so hopefully it can handle the occasional glitches. One thing everyone is talking about is the screen. I have to say that I agree with everyone. Plenty of metrics, fairly high-resolution bar chart below, well-placed icons and gauges. I don't know why it took so long, but this upside down LCD looks great from any angle and under any light source. I don't know how it runs on batteries with the backlight on all the time, but I'll update. Some people have complained about the wires. I also have a fluke and to be honest these lines are just perfect. They may not be a coincidence, but they're not overpriced by $60 either. They have a comfortable silicone feel for both the alligator set and the standard tip. They appear to be resilient and don't feel like they will have any problems for the first week. The temperature sensor is good too, and a welcome sight for a budget meter compared to the cheap, flimsy thermocouples that many meter manufacturers offer you. also wide. The only complaint I have with the time department is that the manual says I can toggle the main display between C and F, but I definitely can't. It just shows C on the main display no matter what button I press or hold. Although it's not the end of the world. The rotary switch is a little dated, but offers auto or manual range, as well as auto-off with override. Great feature! I knew from the start that this counter wouldn't give me a lot of phantom readings and I had my doubts about its accuracy since all the big names have issues with phantom readings. I can tell you so far, no matter what range or choice I've made, this gauge has been amazingly accurate. Not only is it accurate, but even though it only claims 3 readings per second, I'm betting this thing against my chance and I'm betting it will win. It's fast! continuity mode too. Now to my biggest problem. I don't know what they were thinking, but the battery door and footrest has to be the dumbest technical part of this meter. What a pain to put it back on with the little clips and then attach 1 small screw that will surely come loose and lose in a short while. This is a cheap case with no lining. Okay, but now I'm picking at the little things. For the most part this seems to be a well featured, decently built and accurate meter that you can't go wrong with for the price.
