We love Lone Peak kids! We found out about Altra through our cross country coach and now we're hooked. Our kids have walked countless miles and played with it for hundreds of hours and they love it. The wider insole makes them comfortable but also more stable. The outsole seems to wear out a bit quickly (other parents have mentioned this) but the kids are struggling with the shoes. Even shoelaces are good because they have bulges to keep them tied. I'm a little worried because they're always very hard to find. This year I had to transfer two of my boys to Topos because I couldn't find their sizes anywhere. I hope Altra doesn't stop releasing them.
