I thought the cards were painted or printed on metal but instead it's just metal pieces covered in mostly aligned stickers. As long as you don't touch them too much, I don't see that as a problem, so I'm not mad about it. It's definitely something to tinker with and it's way more unique than your standard Newton's cradle or spinner! I give it a solid 6/10 for creativity. Just keep it away from little kids.
