Rather than mess around with returning it and buying another, I just ran it through my table saw and 3/16 "
I bought this for my Smittybilt 12k XRC Gen2 winch and didn't know that Daystar made the model on purpose for smittybilt the reason is this model is not suitable for smittybilt winches it is too wide to fit between the rollers on the rail rather than bothering to return another one and I just put it through my table saw and removed 3/16" from both sides and it fits like a glove.
