I love the look of the board. It's crazy because it has this OLED screen that shows the CPU temperature and has an eye-catching animation when the computer is off. The glow of the aura spreads throughout the field. However, I didn't actually buy this board because of the looks, but because of the function of the EK water blocks for VRM. Yes you can use this board without filling or touching the VRM water blocks but my intention was to put the board in the freezer and run all my water lines to the aquarium cooler. By removing heat from the VRM I put less stress on the freeze compressor. I had a hero on the Z490 chipset and it's definitely a good upgrade over the hero. Another $100 is a reasonable premium for water blocks for the VRM and fancy OLED display. The two 16x PCIe GPU slots are interesting. Most motherboards fall from 16 -> 8 -> 4. It's 16x -> 16x -> 4X which I've never seen before. Anyway, I don't see any flaws in this board. Give it a try if you intend to do a sub-ambient setup.
