and I bought it knowing that the picture quality wouldn't be very good. There are massive chromatic aberrations, but they are there.

You get a great zoom for the price and I bought it knowing the picture quality would be poor. There are large chromatic aberrations, but these are easily corrected by the Lightroom preset. You need to sharpen your post images heavily to get anything usable. But for the price, the lens is great.
