The shoes for the boy are very nice, the size is true to size. They are made from high quality leather so I think they can be passed down through the generations. I gifted them to my 10 year old grandson and he appreciated these shoes. I love that these are slip-on loafers with fake Velcro closures, so don't waste Andrew's precious time fumbling with zippers and openings. The inside of the shoe has thick padding, possibly memory foam. The outsole is made of synthetic Flexsole rubber. They seem so strong that I think he'll outgrow them before exhausting them. These shoes go equally well with jeans or dress pants. We didn't find any faults with these shoes, which is why I'm giving them five stars.
