This is a great design, very poorly executed. The base will not stay attached to the post no matter how tight you tighten it. It appears that either the rod is too big for the base or the threads are too small to hold it effectively. My husband will try JB Weld to see if it works. Otherwise it is useless and ends up in the trash.
