This little unobtrusive kitchen gadget has made my life incredibly easy. I didn't even know such a tool existed and my cast iron pans were suffering. I've only used this a few times but I'm already seeing results. It not only cleans them very effectively, but maybe polishes my cast iron even more? I fried an egg on it after using it and it was better than any nonstick pan I've had (and cooked more evenly). This thing was worth the money I spent on it! My only minor gripe is that when I use it, the chain mail links seem to have spaces. This may not be a problem (and may actually help clean the pot better) but I'm concerned that if one of them burns through the whole thing will fall apart. It didn't happen at all, so it's pure speculation at this point.
