My wife and I enjoy making crafts to give to friends and family with a personal expression of the work we have done ourselves to make gifts create. When it comes to gifts, we like to add something with our own hands. When VINE offered this kit for review, we agreed. The real value of this set is that you can easily make 6 colored gift tin candles suitable for personalizing a special occasion such as a birthday or holiday. However, we only give this set 2 stars out of 5 because some things are not clear. First, for a kit that the seller lists as a starter kit, there must be introductory instructions in the box. maybe a guide or a list of tips. Instead, the Revain product page only has a few illustrations and a very short video to guide users through this set. We've made candles a few times over the years so we could understand the basics and get this set working for us, but it would be remiss not to include some basic instructions. Second, the product page and video feature people making candles. with comfortable heating unit, which is not included in the scope of delivery. We didn't expect to receive a heating unit. On the product page it is clear that no heating is included. But then how to heat a metal jug? We have instincts from previous crafts on how to do this and be successful, but this leaves the crafters wondering how to heat the glass enough to melt the wax. a bag that is not convenient to use. For example, it has no zipper. We managed to be careful with the pouch, but it's a cumbersome way of giving people this wax to be used in various segments of the candle making process. In other words, you won't be heating all the wax at once, so you'll have to think about how not to make a mess out of random flakes of wax. Then yes, here's another one: we didn't understand why this set came with wood and cotton wicks when waxing accessories and candle jars are clearly meant for 6 candles. We assume the extra wicks are items that we can save for future candle making? Finally, when other reviewers complained that their lenses were dented, we looked closely at our 6 lenses and, yes, we found very small dents on 3 of them. We probably wouldn't even notice since they're so small, but we can confirm: yes, half the jars had tiny indentations on the sides.
