We always lose (or break) plastic seals on bread bags and other groceries. They're very easy to use, so we haven't had any breakage issues so far; they seem to be well made. The only problem encountered was some very large bags, mostly very large bags of flour tortillas. There is so much plastic that we couldn't insert the bag's twisted "neck" into the spot where the clip was inserted. I think these will be the rare exception for most people, and they go with everything else we've used them for.
