MUCH BETTER THAN RIBBON

Wanted to try this because I've always hated tie ties and those flat plastic things that never get tight. So kudos to whoever invented these spring clips because they work! Incredibly easy and convenient to use, simply twist and secure the bag. They hold up tight, feel sturdy enough to last, and cost less than $1 each and you won't regret it.

Great for the price

Replaced some OXO clamps with these. While not as ergonomic (?) as the OXO, they still get the job done. The pair in the box didn't open fully, but after using a prying tool (small screwdriver) I was able to adjust the spring and they are fine now. I've been using it for a few months and all are still intact and I haven't had to adjust the springs on any of them since I originally unboxed this item.

Best Invention

Sending a man to the moon was fine. The silicon chip was fine. The computer was fine. But none of them can compare with this gadget. The best invention. Very easy to use. I no longer have to deal with those stupid plastic clips. Ah, let's be honest. I stopped using these years ago. Like everyone else in the world, I just pocket my bread and hope for the best. Sometimes it works. But don't hope for the best now. It's awesome.

Great value, good set but some issues with extra large bags

We always lose (or break) plastic seals on bread bags and other groceries. They're very easy to use, so we haven't had any breakage issues so far; they seem to be well made. The only problem encountered was some very large bags, mostly very large bags of flour tortillas. There is so much plastic that we couldn't insert the bag's twisted "neck" into the spot where the clip was inserted. I think these will be the rare exception for most people, and they go with everything else we've used them…

Finally there is a functional replacement for screed!

Let me start by saying that I HATE TWIST BINDINGS for many reasons. Worse still are the little plastic clips found on some bread bags. This is finally an easy-to-use solution that seals the pouch properly and keeps it that way until you're ready to open it again. The concept here is simple. Twist the bag to roll up the plastic a bit, then press the clip. Insert the folded part of the package into the clip and then release. When ready to reopen the pouch, squeeze the clip and remove the pouch…
